Ticket Institute provides leading ENs to make presentations, answer questions and help new or struggling ENs launch successful programs.NENA has provided Ticket Institute training sessions for Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) programs in:
• Arizona
• Arkansas
• Maine
These projects have helped those MIGs increase the number and effectiveness of employment networks (ENs) serving consumers in their states.
Ticket Institute remains available for state MIGs to develop Ticket Program service capacity in their states. As in the three states so far, Ticket Institute is a flexible program, providing both in-person events for one or two full days, as well as shorter Webinar or Teleconference sessions. NENA is in discussion with two other state MIGs about training resources to meet their Ticket Program training needs.
In addition to MIG projects, Ticket Institute is developing comprehensive training programs nationwide for all ENs through their NENA membership. To learn more, click here to email NENA Communications Director Peter Mead.
ENs need a comprehensive education program to help SSA meet its goals for the Ticket Program. "Ticket Institute" will help more ENs become financially viable providers of quality services, and that in turn will help more Ticket-users succeed.
Other Ticket stakeholders are also encouraged to attend selected modules, as they need. Without a startup resource like Ticket Institute, some organizations will not become ENs at all, so this education program will contribute to EN recruiting as well as EN performance.
