Meet the Board

The NENA board represents a wide spectrum of Employment Networks, providing expertise and support to fellow ENs though its board actions.

Peter Mead, CPDM, as NENA Chair and co-founder, led creation of NENA to help ENs become financially sustainable providers of quality services. Through his leadership, the NENA Board has launched a regular email newsletter and teleconferences, completed the infrastructure to provide member services, and become the leading private-sector advocate for EN concerns with the Social Security Administration.

Susan Webb, MBA is president and co-founder of NENA and has 32 years of personal experience with a significant disability and is a former beneficiary of Social Security Disability. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Director of ABIL Employment Services (AES) in Phoenix, Arizona. AES is contracted by the Social Security Administration as an Employment Network under the Ticket to Work Program and is one of the top-producing ENs in the country.

Steven Sachs PH.D., CRC is secretary and co-founder of NENA and Executive Director of Ticket to Work Services, LLC, a leading national Employment Network. He holds a doctorate in Education and Psychology from Clark University and has been a nationally board certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for twenty-five years. He is also the author of an academic textbook, Voices of Reason, and a Licensed School Psychologist.

Karen Davidson is the manager of a Ticket to Work Employment Network called "A Ticket to Success" with the Tulare County Office of Education located in the Central Valley of California. For the past eight years, she has been managing job placement and vocational training programs through various contracts and grants serving disadvantaged adults.

Dave Gadaire is Executive Director of CareerPoint, a One Stop Career Center located in Holyoke Massachusetts. CareerPoint was the first One Stop to become an Employment Networks and report a 'found employment'. CareerPoint has received numerous awards and honors including the National Alliance for Business' Career Center of the year, Citizen's Bank Community Champion Award as well as many local awards for operational excellence and outreach into the community.

Steve Start, CRC, CVE: Twenty-seven years ago Steve founded and has successfully managed S.L. Start & Associates. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology; is a Certified Vocational Evaluator and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Steve has over 30 years of multi-state experience in employment and provision of vocational rehabilitation services. He is also a presenter and author of numerous articles.

Paula Reuben Vieillet, M.A., CVE, is a Nationally Certified Vocational Evaluator, President of Employment Options, Inc. a national Ticket to Work Employment Network and author of nationally recognized job placement workbook, Disabilities / Different Abilities: A New Perspective for Job Hunters which has been used by governmental agencies, non-profits, private companies, and university educational programs.

Paul Luttrell, MBA, is VIce President for Business Development and Coordinator of the Ticket to Work Program for Adelante Development Center,Inc., Albuquerque, NM.  Coordinator of the New Mexico Employment Network Group. Chair of the New Mexico DD Supported Employment Council for 7 years.  Wrote grant for the first Social Security Benefits Coordination program in New Mexico in 1998. Twenty-nine years experience with employment programs in Indiana and New Mexico.
