Meet the Board & Committee Assignments

The NENA board represents a wide spectrum of Employment Networks as well as State VR agencies, providing expertise and support to fellow ENs and VRs through Board actions.

The current Board was elected on Sept. 16, 2009.
On Sept. 15, 2010, NENA members will elect 5 new Board Members to fill the 5 positions serving 1-year terms. Those newly-elected Board members will serve full 3-year terms, ending in September, 2013.

1-year term:
• Charlene Dwyer, Administrator of the Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
• David Gadaire, Executive Director of CareerPoint, a non-profit One Stop Career Center in western Massachusetts
• Thomas Linder, owner of Linder Consulting in Oakland, CA
• Alan Stapleton, NENA Secretary, President of Rewards for Working, a national EN based in Crownsville, MD
• Pamela Walker, owner of Alliance Professional Services, a national EN based in Collierville, TN, was elected by the NENA Board to fill the unexpired 1-year term of Peter Mead, who resigned to accept the post of NENA Communications Director.

2-year term:
• Lisa Jordan, President of Human Solutions, a national EN based in Buena Park, CA
• Gloria Panama, Executive Director of Charles Hayes Family Investment Center in Chicago, IL
• Steven Sachs, Executive Director of Ticket to Work Services, a national EN based in Hartford, CT
• Paula Vieillet, CEO of Employment Options, a national EN based in St. Petersburg, FL

3-year term:
• Karen Davidson, NENA Treasurer, manager of A Ticket to Success in Visalia, CA
• Paul Luttrell, NENA Chair, VP for Business Development for Adelante Development Center in Albuquerque, NM
• Kenneth Upshaw, Senior Director of Bridges...School to Work, a national Marriott Foundation project based in Chicago, IL
• Susan Webb, NENA President, Director of non-profit ABIL Employment Services in Phoenix
